    Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at founders@kelcurtfoundation.org if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Developed in 2021, KELCURT Foundation wanted to create a safe and fun space for families to celebrate Halloween. This tradition continues in our 2nd annual Trunk or Treat and movie in the park.

No. This is a streamed-lined path with vehicles. Each vehicle owner is encouraged to decorate for the holidays. This year's theme is "Dias de los muertes". "Day of the Dead". But you can decorate however you wish.

There are rules for distribution - please click above for vendor application and rules.t

There are 3 sections. 1) The trunk line 2) the gaming area and 3) the movie area.

Area 1: Just the treats maam. This first entry to the event will house all the trunks and people just wishing to hand out candy.

Area 2: Make me work for it. This is the gaming area where kids have to play games to win treats and prizes.

Area 3: When is the movie gonna start? This area you can place your blankets and get ready for "Coco". This movie starts at 8PM

Who knows!  Last year we anticipate 400. We sold out online tickets at 750 and expected 1000. We hand counted 1700 people and the fire department said they estimated over 2000.   So expect 2000 people with 1400 being children.

Saturday, October 29 : 4 PM to 7:30 PM. Movie starts at 8 PM

Trunks may set up starting at 3 PM. It is a first come, first serve positioning system.

The library is accepting candy donation to restock our venders as needed, only while supplies last. Bring at least 2000 pieces and you should be just fine.

Yep -- it takes a lot to take care of the community. And your $60 in candy will be greatly appreciated by every child that walks through our lines. We know times are hard. But now imagine the smiles on these kids faces as you hand out candy to skeletons, ghosts, and goblins. It's worth - trust us!

The event is sponsored by David Castille of State Farm here in Soddy Daisy, Soddy Daisy COmmunity Library and KELCURT Foundation.
