2026 SDCL Halloween EEKStravaganza / Trunk or Treat
The ghosts are gathering, the pumpkins are grinning, and something EEKstra special is brewing at Soddy Municipal Park! Join the KELCURT Foundation and Soddy-Daisy Community Library for our 4th Annual Halloween EEKstravaganza — an afternoon and evening packed with family-friendly Halloween fun for the entire community!

Come dressed to impress (or distress!) and spend the day enjoying vendors, food trucks, games, activities, and plenty of Halloween surprises. Our own Ukelear Fusion ukulele team will keep things festive with performances of holiday favorites throughout the day, and we'll be watching for all those amazing costumes for our EEKxotic Costume Contest — time to be announced!
Think your pie is scary good? 🥧 Our EEKcellent Pie Baking Contest, sponsored by WoodmenLife Insurance, returns this year and is FREE to enter! Entries will be accepted from 3:00–3:20 PM, with judging beginning promptly at 3:30 PM. Bring us your best homemade creation and see if your pie has what it takes to take home the prize!
Then, from 4–7 PM, get ready for the EEKstraordinary Trunk or Treat! Decorated trunks, mountains of candy, creative displays, games, and hundreds of little ghosts, goblins, superheroes, princesses, and assorted creatures will fill the park for three hours of Halloween fun.
And at the heart of it all is what the EEKstravaganza is really about: community. It's neighbors, families, businesses, organizations, churches, volunteers, and friends coming together to create a safe, welcoming place where everyone can celebrate and make some wonderfully spooky memories.

Vendors & Food Trucks: Applications will be accepted through October 1, 2026. Spaces are limited and applications must be approved, so don't wait until the witching hour — use the button below to apply!
Trunkers: Help us make the EEKstraordinary Trunk or Treat bigger and better by decorating a trunk, bringing plenty of candy, and joining the fun! Participation is free, but registration is required by Thursday, October 22. Use the button below to register.
