You are cordially invited to an evening of dinner, cocktails, a silent auction, and murder! This event, on March 2, 2024, is our first gala fundraiser and funds will go to support the mission of the KELCURT Foundation, Soddy-Daisy Community Library, and KELCURT Farms, our food-sustainability project.
The title Minerva’s Masquerade comes from our foundation’s blue barn owl mascot, named for the Roman goddess of wisdom, scholarship, and strategy.
Guests will receive a masquerade mask upon arrival, as well as two drink tickets to use at our bar. We’ll be offering the evening’s signature drink, the Minerva Martini, as well as other favorites. Additional drink tickets will be available for purchase.
Each table will be decorated based on a different literary theme, author, or book and will include handcrafted book art, flowers made from book pages, and a variety of other elements designed to bring the book - and the table - to life. Sponsors of a table will be able to take their centerpiece with them; other centerpieces will be included as part of the silent auction.
A delicious dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. and our guest speakers will be taking the podium beginning at approximately 6:45 p.m. We are truly honored that they are giving their time to be with us and support our mission!
Semi-formal / cocktail attire is requested. Masks will be provided.
